Ok,I just recently got my 240sx and for some reason my Fastback has a reverse gear alarm when backing up. You know that beeping noise a moving truck or garbage truck makes when it backs up? How do I go about disabling this embarrassing nuisance?

It is probably just the bulb

Huh, I need to know how to disable it? Can you go into detail, this is defiantly a beeping alarm, and you can hear this outside the car. An older couple had the car before, and I think they put an aftermarket alarm in, lol. Is there a wire or something I can pull? Thanks.

There are Bulbs you can buy that will beep when it gets power (in this case when the car is in reverse) Try taking out the light bulb for the reverse lights and put it reverse, If it stops then all you have to do is replace the light bulb.

P.S. Do you know what the replacement bulb is for a 93 fastback?

EDIT: Nevermind I just went down to Autozone and got one, 1156 if anybody is wondering.
