Reverse camera Install 03 base q45 HELP!!
Hi im new to the forums. i have a 03 q45. im looking into installing a reverse camera but am having a had time finding information on this. any help would be great. thanks!

The reverse camera only came with cars with GPS. These cars had a larger screen and a video interface compatible with the camera.
If you are looking for a generic camera installation, the OEM cameras had an interface that sensed front wheel steering and plotted the rear bumper path on the screen. I don't have one on my 02 Q but My wife has one in her leased 11 G25. Works really neat.

If you do not have the GPS option you'll need to find an aftermarket one. There are a number of them out there from cheapo crap to more expensive ones that are close to OEM. However, if you don't have a screen that has inputs for it you'll need to use one of their smaller screens, I have seen a few that fit on the rear view mirror. At this point it is probably more trouble/expense than it will be worth if you cannot add an OEM.
