i just paid 13 hours labor to intall a new slave cylinder (did clutch while in there) on a 2012 3.5 sr coupe with 40000 miles. the shop said its all fixed but back up camera coming on in 1st gear and not reverse. they say this has nothing to do with them dropping the trans wich is BS since it was fine when i dropped off. can anyone tell me how that mechanism works and if there is a sensor that might get damaged when dropping trans?

Do your reverse lights come on in 1st too?
They might have gotten the gear position sensors/switches/wiring mixed up.
Maybe take a look at the FSM and see if they point it out in there.

yah they said something was flipped but now my cruise control wont come on unless i pull up on the clutch with my foot from the back of it. sometimes stays engaged about half inch other times it comes up to that point then pops up the rest of the way on its own a few seconds later. is that just bleeding? new clutch master, slave, clutch

Might just have to adjust the switch height. It should be located on the pedal assembly, usually on the bracket area under the dash. Push the seat all the way back and take a look.
