I'm sure most of you remember my shameful loss to a saturn and a z24 cavalier not too long back in one of my first posts? Well last night was a very good night :D I'm on my way home and I'm taking the back way since I don't feel like racing 1,000 hicks before I get home and I notice the familiar little crowd of specators watching a "street race" lol. So I pull up and talk to some friends for a little bit and then the guy with the saturn is like "hey since you messed up last time wanna run them again?" So of course I do, however this time I rev to about 3K lightly holding th e-brake to keep from rolling. needless to say I demolished him this time. We rolled back to the crowd and was convinced that I had modded my engine, lol. So the guy in the z24 decides he wants to kick my *** again. So we go at it, this time we take off at exactly the same time and at the top of second I get about a carlength on him before I have to stop.

Ahh revenge!!! HOWEVER, this isn't the funny part of the story. Everyone will probably have to read this over a second time to believe this. Being angry and spiteful that they'd lost the make this boast: "Yeah well you're car might be alittle faster but ours can out handle yours. Everyone knows FWD's are better for handling since you have the power pulling up front." Now this should be a good example of how bad my town is. Anyway, I challenge them to prove it.

So we go down Fall River road, an incredibly windy road. I don't push it too hard to begin with, but once I start getting over 70 the cavalier fell off pretty quick when he almost slid of the road lol. The saturn surprised me though, he held up pretty good till we got to the more sharp-turned second of the road in which I had to do some very sloppy drifting lol *I'm in no way a driving expert, I've only had moderate training in speed driving so I know alittle more then the average person, but not much lol* Of course the saturn fell off quickly after he saw this. I just kept going until I got home and never looked back.

I'm so proud of my baby :D:D:DAnyway I know this was a completely pointless post but oh well lol just thought I'd share in my contributing in the never ending fight aginst the ricer

nicely done, but you should try to avoid those situations all together.they are what i call "nothing races".you have nothing to gain by winning, and everything to lose....none-the-less, congrats on your redemption!im very careful of what i race in public, unless its equal or better than me, it can get lost :)

congrats, but please be careful. draggin on the streets is one thing, but the racing through the back roads is crazy. regardless good revenge story.

ditto what mayhem said.

try attending an official event so u can have photos and stuff to prove their loss. Nothing worse than pulling out a sheet of paper with the results printed for all to see. hhehehehe

Nice revenge though.

Heh, very true. And I admit it was completely irresponsible, but it had to be done. I couldn't allow the disgrace to continue : )

You know more than the average driver, yet you had to use your e-brake to stop from rolling? :D

LOL we were line up on about a 20% downward slant so if I just revved I would roll steadily forward and I can take off faster if I hold the e-brake and syncronize releasing it with launching. I don't trust revving and holding my heel on the break on a downcline(Is that word? lol) :D Just a personal preferance I guess
