Have you ever considered going pro? You do some VERY nice work and your car looks great.

Good luck on your build(s). Also, what made you get a hachi? I'm sure the power difference was a little bit of a change to say the least, lol

hoping to get the car straight (literally since the wreck kinda tweaked the frame a bit) and have it ready for full pro-am running next year. plan to go to a couple of the local pro-am events this year for the experience and to give me a good idea of what i need to work on for next year.

hachi vs s13 power difference is around 200whp...yea its worlds different. picked up the hachi for a couple reasons. always wanted one, so when i came across this super clean (for an 80s car its damn near mint) ae86 GTS coupe with the GZE swap it was really hard to pass up. drifting a low power (lucky if its hitting 150whp) car with a shorter wheel base is very very different from the 380whp s13 with a much longer wheelbase. everything about the two cars is different so by learning to drift a hachi properly i am hoping it will help me drift the s13 better. plus its a classic iconic japanese car..............and even with the GZE swap it gets great gas mileage (23-25mpg!!!).

overs are now permanent........dont know why i ever messed with the flares now.......yes most every 240 has over fenders but man that make a car look good (as long as said car has the proper wheels.....which mine does....ego toot). the passenger side was a ton easier to bow out since it has the gas door to line everything up right...the driver side was a bit more complicated. would get a rivet or two down and then the body lines on the over would shift just enough to miss lining up properly on both sides. so the driver and passenger sides are a bowed a little differently. passenger side is great, but the driver side bows more at the back than the front and looks a little funny to me......but thankfully its just a drifter so i dont need perfection. its just going to hit things anyway so i am not stressin it like i would have before the big wreck or the wall kiss. also looks like i need to lower the rear a touch (although more on passenger side since the car is somewhat lopsided from typically only having a driver). front really needs lower...eventually will get around to it.

on to the pics;

You would most likely be in a B class but if you want to go into the A class and tandem then I think Petty has to watch and see if your good enough, which souldn't be a problem. I would PM Petty (sprinter666) on clubloose for more info. And make sure you can pass tech, I heard CL is one of the hardest to pass.

You have a full cage?

full cage with door bars.....dont think it would pass FD cage tech since the rear bars go down to a bar that connects the strut towers....seems FD wants the rear bars to mount to the wheel wells. after checking out the CL tech stuff i need a fire extinguisher and a cut off switch, but i think thats it.

That sucks about the cage.
If I get a helmet can I get a ride?
And I was wondering how much hp does this have?

not to worried about the cage......by the time i am FD approved i will probably be in another s13 shell......or something entirely different...or will have the cage meet whatever requirements are instated. as for hp..last time it was on a dyno it pulled about 380whp@19psi.

and yes you can.

That really came together well.. Awesome color, matches your wheel collection nicely. Definitely one of my favourite S13's!

Cool blog btw.. I have to say your ride is "SIK!"

I wasn't really digging the beat to hell multi color scheme. then you hit me with that crazy shade of green that works sooooo well on the car!! Good stuff :dblthumb: :bigthumb:
