so have a manifold that supposedly is the uprev manifold from the uprev vq35de engine it does have different part numbers on it than my stock one

so my question is what is the difference between the two manifolds or is there none and its just a motor difference I started to polish and open up the manifold but to the eye it looks exactly the same besides the part numbers

As far as I know UpRev doesn't sell a manifold (not listed on their site either) unless it's some one off one. Curious...

Do you mean the Motordyne MREV2? UpRev is just a software tuning company as far as I know.

no I know that the 350z came with and up rev motor which allowed it to rev much higher than ours but I was wondering if the intake manifold are different or is it just internal to our motors

no some of the 350z came with an up rev engine that let you rev much higher than our motors but my question is the intake manifold different from ours or is it the same and its just internals that were different

Ahh, I get it now.

You're talking about the revup motor...NOT UpRev (which is a tuning company).

Its been a LONG time since I have dealt with the manifold versions. From what I remember the older DE is different from the revup model engine (note that the revup version DE is different than the newer HR model engine). Im pretty sure the revup manifold had better porting for improved airflow. It is quite similar, but different enough that it provides a few percent more airflow. I could be remmebering it wrong, but that is what I recall from the many years ago I dealt with the two manifolds.
