Those pics are humongous on my monitor. Try resizing them to 21% before uploading them to the hosting site and it will be alot easier to read.

I did get a nice closeup of that 300zx on the wall, though. That car is bad a** on Gran Turismo 2 (yes, I still have that game).

[edit] Pics much different looking now, for the better.

I hate waiting on parts. Expecting a review on the sway bar. Are all the bushings rubber? Never mind I saw it on the box.

Nope, bushings are poly which should kick butt with the poly bushing I have for the rear springs.

Sorry about the size of the pics.

Found the boot on the right side upper balljoint torn to pieces and I don't know why. I just replaced those last year. Carquest is the best though, they are going to warranty that one for me. I installed the new one yesterday, I love my ball joint remover tool, and have the old one ready to go back to CQ.

Finished running power to all my new gauges and ran a new vacuum line from my TB to my vac gauge in the dash.

Last, but not least, I cleaned up and bolted my new front rotors to the hubs. I plan on repacking the bearings this week then putting things back together. I also painted my caliper mounting brackets black.

Checking things off the list feels good. Still waiting on my oil PSI sender to replace the one I broke last week. Slowly, getting there.

You gotta love warranties that work.

As of 3/25/2010

-New Moog upper balljoint installed.

-Received the missing Ubolts from Hellwig. The front office is not very conversational but they fixed the problem so I have very little to complain about now.

-Caliper mounting brackets have been painted.

-Front brake hoses have been removed and are awaiting their stainless steel braided replacements.

-Oil temp and PSI senders are fully installed and wired.

-Finished oil change with Futomo drain valve, Nissan OEM filter and Royal Purple 5w30 synth oil.

Outstanding Projects

-RSB installed-Front bearings repacked and reinstalled-Front calipers painted and installed.-Poly rear spring bushings.-Rear brake clean and adjust.

Slowly getting there.

Will do on the pix.

Empire Radiator picked up my brake hoses this morning. They are making custom stainless braided duplicates. Should be back in my hands on Monday. After that I can begin to put the front back together and start working on the rear suspension.

Brake lines done. Will have back tomorrow. Pics tomorrow evening. $69 for both fronts. They say they were very easy to build.

Time for some nostalgic pics:

Bouncing back to 2010, here's what I was able to get done today. Note to self....cotterpins ASAP!

Got the rotor/hub assemblies installed and the bearings preloaded. Also installed the caliper mounting brackets with new grease and pad retainers. I was able to coat the pads with several coats of CRC Disc Brake Quiet and now I am taking a break. I have to wait for the pads to dry which gave me an excuse to call it a night.
