wat is rev limits for SR20 redtop and S14 ???

Redline is 7200 RPMs.

FOR both because I heard that the S14 engine rev limit was 8000

the S13, S14, and S15 SR redline is 7200.

The CA redline is 8000.

With shotpeened pistons: 9000.

KA redline? : ) too low...

have you ever noticed on the s13 tach its red line is 6900 and on the s14 its 6500.....

The REV limit on the sr is 7500 i believe...The rev limit on the S14 is not 8000. Not on a stock motor atleast...however told you that was wrong....OR had a JWT ecu, they move the revlimiter.

wow. I definitely over revved? I redline 1st gear at 7500, 2nd gear around 7400, and my car **** up if i try to redline at 7500 in 3rd gear... I swear, i could have seen the S13 stock dash redline is at 8...I gotta check again.

mine is 7700 retuned ecu. I never take it that far. not until the head is redone. normally around 6-6500 rpm.

I dont have a rev limiter.............for the first two months I had it I totally shifted at like 5500~6000. Now I'm shifting about 6800. I'm scared as hell about overrevving. Chris
