rev limiter

anyone here successfully remove the rev limiter on a ka24e . I read the faq and disconnected the sensors it said to and it didnt work. is there another way that doesnt invlove direct computer mod.

Don't know about rev limiter but I do know about the green and yellow wire to cut for the speed limiter

You're supposed to cut it at the ecu. I tried it a couple of years ago and it wound up causing the limit to drop to like 80 or something crappy like that. I think it tripped something in the ecu to work off the rpm sensors in the transmission as a backup or some crap. It might work if you disconnected the transmission sensors also, but I'm too damn lazy to do all that.
