I have a 1990 240sx and I think I have a rev problem but I'm not sure how the rev limiter sounds. cause I'll have it about 5500 in neutrel and it will hold there for a little bit then it drops down to about 3500. is thos normal or do I have a problem. Also I have just recently replaced cap, rotor, plugs, wires, T.P.S., and swapped my M.A.F.

the chain gets tight when the tensioner kicks in, it may rattle for a few seconds on startup but it will stop, thats very common to the Ka's

when I had the valve cover off on the driver side of the engine I could push the chain (just under the cam gear) from resting position atleast an inch left or right. when we timed it it is about 15 degrees before. when I revved it the timing went out to about 35 degrees.
