this is true. even if you use the Techno square reflash to bump the redline its still not a good idea unless you get aftermarket cams and cam springs and EVEN THEN your redline is gonna be something like 6,500-6,800 ish. Unfortunately the QR engine is a truck engine that has a long stroke not mean for Hi-revving applications. i have seen an "SQR" frankenstien build that took the crank of an SR20 and i believe after market rods and pistons for boost application, it was also destroked to like 2.3l. i dont remember the redline. here is the linknametakennow wrote:Overrevving a QR would be a bad idea.
