Hey everyone i'm new hear. I'm a mechanic that owns a what i would call a custom 97 Nissan Hardbody. Looking to see if there are any Nissan techs or anyone who could help with my problem. I had a bad problem with the motor sputtering and stalling pretty bad mainly at low rpm. Also it has a weird almost like a rev limiter at 2400 rpm only when cold and warming up it goes away after a while and i can stomp it to pass it, but if increasing throttle slowly it happens. I found that the distributor "coil" was dropping spark badly only when quickly increasing throttle.replaced dist. Now the sputtering is greatly decreased but the rev limiting problem is still there only at 2400 rpm and also occasionally a sputter not much at all. I did all of the timing procedure the best i could. If anyone has had this problem or heard of it anything please help thanks nissan brotheren. :werd:
