Rev Limit On RB20DET

i was wondering if the rb20det ecu has a built in rev limiter and if it does does it cut ignition and what rpm it cuts

yes: there is a revlimitno: it cuts fuel not ignitioni dunno: im not sure exactly what rpm it is.

i heard 8100, i know when i hit it im way past 8 thats with the stock tach with the resistor adjusted its about 300rpm high.

stock redline is at 7500, sometimes 7800 depending if you are in gear or not.

oh ok so it shuts down the injectors so its probubly not a good idea to bang it off there

well it actualy nixes the pump but why would you be bouncing off the revlimiter anyways, theres no power to be had up there on a stock rb20.

i was just wondering like if you miss a gear or somthing also my tach dosent seem to be acurate i read somwhere about turning a screw on the back of the tach what way clockwise or counter

I sent my tach into ls automotive to get setup for a 6cyl so it would be accurate. Took a few weeks, but everything works correctly. Came with some drift stickers too! :p
