rev limit... gear limit? computer limit?

and I was wondering, on the sr20det's fifth gear 5k rpm limit, is it done by gear or computer?

also will apexi power fc be able to take this off?

Cut the speed sensor wire to the ecu (green/yellow wire) and no speed limiter, only rev limiter as far as i can tell.

The 5th gear limit will limit you to around 135-140mph.
