rev limit before valve float?

so what is the limit before valves start floating on the sohc v6 ?

6500 with stock cams?7000 with stock cams?what about big cams?

i've heard stories of people running porsche outer vlave springs on these cars, anybody ever heard of that before??

just looking for ideas.

i've always been told 6800-7000 on stockers..

not heard anything about porsche's but paeco makes some customs ones " ive been told" contact danny he upgraded his or is in process of.. due to valve float

Thats with new springs not old 100+ miles.. so maybe lower..

hrmm.

well looks like ill be playing around with random cam grinds then.

we will experiment with stock valve spirngs first, see how they do, then put a set of better ones in , see what they do.

anybody ever heard of hydraulic lifters collapsing uner high rpm??
