During building but after installing the head, I ended up having to pull the head off to get the idler pulley hole fixed(fiasco)... Anyway I'm going to end up having to reuse the head gasket and arp studs that I bought for the motor. I know this sounds like a recipe for disaster but my machinist told me to use this stuff called hylomar. I was wondering if anyone has used it or heard of it? He claims its the best for sealing metal to metal and should be used on MLS gaskets. I do know Rolls Royce used it to seal mated surfaces in jet motors... I guess I'll be the guinea pig. Let you know how it goes.
here's a link to Hylomar, btw I'm using the aerosol... http://www.valco-cp.com/Hylomar.htm
