I ran into this page. http://www.gopurepower.com/

Pure Power Stainless Steel Lifetime Oil Filter. Why would someone want to clean and reuse an oil filter if a regular oil filter is cheap? Will this actually work? I saw one for about $180. I can't imagine this could be good for your car. What do the experts here think, like I don't know what you guys are going to say.

I say that 12 mobil 1 oil filters cost about $110... Thats enough for 4 years, assuming you live by the 90 day rule.....

Yeah, at retail! Don't forget Joe has them for around $6.50 I think.

Reusable filters (Oberg and the like) are beneficial if you want an instantaneous evaluation of what's getting filtered.

Race car kind of stuff.

You could possibly identify if excess particles were being filtered allowing you to thwart a failure.

I agree with Heavy. It is mostly a race or competition orientated product. You can find it in a JEGS magazine for $135.
