It is good to be back! I had to change from ajsdream to ajsdreamII as my address had changed home and e-mail. Could not remember my old password and e-mail address to make the transition smoother.

Anyway. long story short I am back with a Grap. Dia. 2006 M35x only Journey and XM with 52,000 for $22,500. I traded the 2000 I30t with 108,000 needing tires,O2 sensor, and intermittent sunroof. I felt the price for the M35x was not bad but as all dealers do I probably got screwed on the trade in. I apparently had a rear damage to the I30 before I had owned the car according to the carfax they ran. I had owned the car for over 3 years and bought from a Volvo dealer but missed requesting the carfax. Ouch! (I originally went in to look at a 2005 G35 with only 7,00 0 miles for $25,600. Too much for me after I saw the M's interior!)

My trade now was only worth $4,500 although the car was beyond clean and ding free. I had all the paperwork for the car since I bought it down to the factory exhaust tips I put on( the dealer of courses did not want to see nor got this paperwork) They reviewed the situation and could not see any over spray or seams. They threw in another $500 dollars! O boy!

I took the deal but made them refinish the wheels due to scuff/gouge marks, repaint the front corner(scuff/gouge), and replace a 2nd missing key fob. This was bought at a poorly run, lack of communication non-Infiniti (Mazda) dealership that lacked the customer service I was use to at Infiniti. Although the Infiniti dealers were way higher in prices on the used non certified Infiniti M's(3-5k).

While I am sure I did not get the deal of the century; I felt I got the car as I would have wanted it minus the ugly painted pinstripe the previous owner felt he had to have to make the car classy??. Yuk!

Sorry, to bore everyone but I like reading everyones exploits and adventures in this forum. I thought I would return and add my own tale!

Best part of the story is the ending ... you're in an M35x you love. Go driving!
