pretty expensive to replace if they dont turn out. used those lights are 600 bux. personaly im not sure if i would attempt it. FYI those housings are a pain to take apart. i gutted a HID setup out of a busted up set of lights and it was a pain to get them apart. all im gonna say is good luck. im curious how they are gonna turn out.

Are those the Mini Morimotos? If not, I would recommend those or the Blazer fogs. Now as far as messing with this, I've only done one retrofit on my old car (ML320) and it was a simple drop in, but since I was a noob I never got it perfect. I would make sure every measurement is perfect and all the right marks are made. If you're handy and experienced and *PATIENT* it should be a one day job. As a newb, I'd leave it for a weekend once you have everything ready to start. Check the forums on HIDPLANET. Best of luck, and this is something I definitely wanna see done. Cheers.

Thank You brother...

This is what i have decided thus far, Since my QX4 already have HIDs i am going to use the Projector lens from these and basically plug and play just the Black Lens part on top of the bulb. This way i wont lose the MOTORIZED headlight that this headlight has.

Hello iceman14m,
thank you for the picture and hope you're on the right way. Tell me more about the different stage of removal. It seems that the glue is very hard.

Host your image at a site like photobucket or imageshack. Grab the image link, click the little mountain in the toolbar then paste the link between. Alternatively type in [img*]LINK HERE[/img*]. Minus the asterisks. Hope that helped.

By the way, how long did you have to keep the fog housing in the oven and at what temperature?
