Retrofit seats?

I have a 2003 QX4 (as you can tell by my name), and I searched the forums, but couldn't seem to find anything.

I was curious to know if anyone has ever tried to retrofit the climate controlled seats out of the new JX35's (basically an updated pathfinder) or maybe a QX56? I'd love to do the project. I'm just curious as to what all sort of wiring and what not needs to be done.

Living in the south, heated/cooled would be amazing to have in the 100 degree heat in the summer time, and the low teens and twentys mornings in the winters.

Any help would be much appreciated! I'm new to the forum, but I've been reading on it for some time. There are some very smart guys on here, surely someone's done this, or knows someone who has?

Cooled seats????? I live in Houston and that would be awesome..

If they will fit in a 2003 QX4, should be same for 1997 Pathfinder?

Yes, all R50 seats are interchangeable. I don't know about newer seats.

kinda curious as to any insight on to this as well. my r50 leather seats are cracked all over, presumably from the florida sun. need to figure out what to do with em.

I know the R50 seats are interchangeable, but I was hoping someone could find a diagram of the brackets and maybe knows something about the wiring...

I can't seem to find anything about them, so I was hoping someone would have an idea. But heated/cooled seats are definitely sounding awesome.

It's possible! I was hoping that someone knew something about the brackets and wiring on the newer cars that could let me know if this was feasible or not
