So, I basically had it with my Rogue's navigation system. Last night while coming home from Disney Springs, it didn't told me to make a turn and I missed an exit, which made me to go into a whole circle. This past Sunday, while I was heading to hotel in Miami Lakes, from a restaurant in Coral Springs, the navigation made me to go around SoFla in a circle to get to the hotel.

What pins and connectors are different between the Navi w/ Bose of the 2014-2017 and the Navi w/Bose of 2018? I am using Google Maps, since that is more accurate and helpful compared to the POS Navi that is equipped with the Rogue.

Replacing an older HU with a new model with a mapping system from the same company won't solve your problem. You need to ditch the OEM equipment and get a HU with maps from a reliable company (Garmin, etc.). Or you could go old school and get a paper map. :chuckle:

Then you'd have to learn how to fold it and that is a lost art.

Actually I'm surprised car company's are still putting navigation units in their vehicles. I think a much better choice is to provide speakers and a place on the dashboard to dock your phone. Forget the crappy navigation units, they never get updated and they are worthless anyway. How about a dock for your phone and an app the integrates the backup camera and navigation? Maybe even connects to the car and monitors the engine and other OBD systems
