Have the flywheel resurfaced the right way, as in with a step. Get it done to 300zx Z32 specs. It has a small step, and that's what makes a difference in holding power.
My rb20 flywheel needed a lot of machining and the shop recommended a small spacer between the flywheel and crank.
I haven't heard of any one machining a pressure plate, the only way I could see properly fixing it is replacing the friction surface. But that would pretty much just mean a new PP.
The clutch is a wear item, Id judge how much wear it has and if it needs replacing yet. Id run it until it slips or some thing is going to fail. The flywheel wasn't helping.
