Forgot to post about this earlier.

They DID find that there was an actual fault with my 12V power outlet. They wouldn't say specifically what the fault was, but they are ordering a new power outlet. The symptom was that it was blowing fuses when using a cell phone charger, which is about the lower power draw device you can actually plug in to it.

They will call me when the part comes in, so I guess I will get to drive the Altima for another day in the next week or so.

the other two adjustment issues I took it in for (A/C and alignment) were both fine.
