Ok I have a gem of a 96 Q45 w/ 104,600 on the clock runs great. Just the interior has a some rips & door panel crackage that bothers me. I found a 1994 Touring edition w/ an excellent interior same color. My question is are they interchangeable without having to mod or lose features(seats).

Thanks

Both interiors are identical unless one has heated seats and the other does not. I think the only difference on the 96 is the door panels are made of different material. Other than that the seat tracks are identical.

Can we get some pics?

I would get a picture of the plate under the hood. the 94-96 came in 3 colors interior wise (other than black, maybe white). P= Beige (Tan) is the only one I have seen with the pearl white model. R=Taupe is less common of a color for this model and I think that is what you are looking at with the donor car. W= Grey would be the last which is closer to a slate or off white which I don't think this has. They may be different in color and if they are, you may be getting your hands full as you will need so swap out much more than the seats and door panels. Possibly chancing some breakage. The donor also has heated seats. They are very common in the 96 and if you do not have them it will be an easy upgrade

That is a steal for $700 I would jump on it before someone else does. Even if the colors don't match that is a good 5 mroe years in just parts.

I love the 94-96 pearl white. I am still looking for one myself

EDIT - (other than black, maybe white)

Yea she's a beauty, mine has heated seats as well I got it from upstate NY so it has the rust under carriage & wheel well issues. But I'm going to attempt to handle the interior then get the exterior in 2014 shape. These cars are awesome & so underappreciated.

Thanks for that color info I will get the guy to find out for me.

There is an aluminium plate next to the brake booster on the right side. Says the color combos, vin, and other such info. Compare the 2. I hate to say it but I am 99% sure yours is beige and the donor is taupe

Get me the VIN to both vehicles and I can tell you the color codes. By the way that Q for sale is in great cosmetic shape. But don't buy it for that reason!

Either way. Grab it. As the owner stated he has had numerous hits I suggest grabbing it now. Those rims are worth at least $400 easily to a honda finatic. The paint alone is great. I bet you could easily make the $700 back within a week. I need a couple odds and ends for my Q. Tell ya what, you buy it I would gladly bring you some business for a few parts I need rather than off ebay. Nothing major but a good 200 bucks or so worth. GO FOR IT!

Your Q interior is in mint condition compared to mine. My rips have started to separate on my shamu interior. Although I really don't care at almost 340k.

Yes I want to bring this one back, I was flirting with an immaculate 1998 Jaguar XJ8 as well.

I suggest removing your vin number from your previous post....

The only XJ8 worth owning of that model is a 96 LWB AJ16..... FYI

I don't know I may have deleted it by mistake....I am at a dealer anyways and I am pretty happy. Its what I want to do unless the place you're talking about is working of cars/trucks?

I looked at the Raleigh Q45t last month. The good pics are from years ago the last couple pics are more recent. It has been sitting in the sun for several years and the interior is starting to show it. Otherwise it it a complete car and the owner is straightforward once you get ahold of him.

Yes the guy never responded & after looking @ it longer I'm pretty sure they are different colors. Guess I'll just get someone locally to re-cover & or patch as needed. Found a body/paint guy from a well respected shop that works on the side @ his house he's going to take a look & give me his quote.

I suggest you to keep searching. Your white Q45 is very common. I am looking for a pearl white 94 myself but want to discard the stock interior. if I can find what I am looking for I may give you any and all interior that you may need.

Hello everyone,

I have an 01 Q45- bought it @ 60 k and noticed in the maintenance log a knock sensor ha dbeen replaced @27 k. Last week it started idling a bit rough at the light. I called my mechanic and he is charging me 450$ to replace them; $275 for sensors ,$175 and 4 hrs labor. I had the hood struts replaced last night, and removed the mud guards (they were cracked when I bought her)@150$
Previously he did a tune up and replaced the belts @ 375.00.
Is he being fair to me?
I really dig this car- it's powerful and smooth, yet elegant . I was thrilled to give that little senior woman 7k and head west on I-70 and take her home,
best regards,
