restoration tech question/carfax request

hi listers, i have been looking for a 240sx donor car for an sr swap and have come across a 96' with a light interior burn inside. the car seems to be in pretty good shape. im not as concerned with the seats or carpets, even the dash i could find, this would be a good oppurtunity to enhance the looks of the interior anyways. i am more concerned with the mechanical and electrical components that might have been affected by the fire... any insight on this?. are there any other concerns i should have pertaining to cause of the fire, and what are some key questions i should ask the seller about the car(the asking price is about 3250.00$). im not sure where or how all the wires run through the interior of an s14, but maybe some of you can shed some light on this subject. your two cents would be greatly appreciated.

also, if anyone has access to carfax, that would be really appreciated as well.
