Just wanted to share some pics with you guys

Warning: True Autmotive Lover's will need a towel

First up is a 1937 Type 15. This was based off the Austin Seven (also known as the “Chummy” since the driver and passenger sat so close to each other). This was the first mass-produced Japanese vehicle after WWII.

Next are a couple of late 50s Fairladies. It’s reported that the head of Nissan’s favorite movie at he time was My Fair Lady thus the name. You'll also notice the 1600 and 2000 roadsters in the background

The next two are the vehicles that started it all in North America. The 1958 1200 sedan and 1200 pickup.

Let’s not forget about the Nissan Patrol. Unfortunately Datsun never did much with this in the US but it could have been a strong contender for the Toyota Land Cruiser. Roy Rodgers was a spokesman for the Patrol in the mid 60s.

Pininfarina or Giugiaro, (can’t remember which right now), designed this early 60s sedan that could have given the BMW 1600 and 2002 a good fight at the time.

How about a Nissan Cedric Custom Six? Only a hand full were brought in to see if Datsun could sell them. I guess they decided no one wanted a Japanese-built luxury car

And then you have to LOVE your ZsOne of the 240Zs that was restored by the "factory" and sold for $25k.

Stillen..OH YEAH!!! 8-)

More pics to Come 8-)

This is THE Trans-Am 2.5 car John Morton drove to a series victory in 1971. The championship came down to the last race of the season held at Laguna Seca Raceway. Morton and Horst Kwech, in the Alfa Romeo GTV, battled side-by-side until Morton stopped for fuel. Kwech took the checkered flag in first place, but was disqualified a few hours later for having an illegal fuel tank. Morton, who finished second, was announced the winner.

Morton took nine races along with the championship in '72 and the little 510 was tucked safely away at Nissan.

And sitting next to it ..PURE SEX

Here's one of the Cunningham Zs driven by Steve Milen and Johnny Oconnell.

The 80's body style

One of Art Schmitt's CORR Trucks. Nissan's been helping him out for a few years and he's currently running 3rd in the Pro Lite class.

How about the ill-fated Infiniti-involved IRL Indy series. Here's one of Eddie Cheever's Dallara chassis cars from the 2001 season.

Wow. Those are amazing pictures and cars. I'm intriuged by the grey q45 behind the cream colored sedan.

I would love to see the interior of the Cedric Custom Six luxury car.

So much history in those pics.

HA! I've been in there.

Unfortunatly, while waiting in line to get through the security gate, I dropped my camera and the lens broke. So I had to walk around in the warehouse with no working camera

But yeah, it's in Gardena, CA, and as far as I know, you have to be with some type of large group to get in. I got in at the 2004 SE-R Convention, which we held partially at Nissan Headquarters.

Ironic thing....it's not shown in the above pictures, but there are a couple Nissan Quests in there from the 1996 Olympics. I have actually driven these cars! They were decaled at my dad's work back in '96. (He used to be a regional training instructor for Nissan in Atlanta). So it was cool being out in CA, and going "Hey! I've driven that car before!" even though it was a lame quest.
