I think that all of us one time or another has been beaten by another car, and then have hated them for it, weather it is a v6 camaro ta or stang. and we get all mad and chilish about it, forgeting that we should pride ourselves as 240 owners, I have only seen one other 240 besides mine, but I see hondas, camaro's, stang's, ta's, vette's eclipses, 3000gts, bmw's, acuras, celicas, berettas and cavaliers. but i rarely see a 240, most of those cars will beat a stock 240, but htere are so many of them that it is radiculis, and after you get beat, think of the things that really matter, till you get money to go fast, you have style, prestige, exclusiveness, just by owning one of the few, more cost efficent rwd import cars. Look at super street for example two 240's on the cover in the last two months, does that say some thing, we are the few who get the best of both worlds, an import, and rwd, to me that means a lot, a lot more than just owning, but the shear enjoyment of having one, and not being rice. if you are not being respected for that, then blow it off, and go on, while they do cookies in reverse, squeal the front tires, and sound like bees,

DISCLAIMERthis is not a diss on camaro's, stang's, ta's, vette's eclipses, 3000gts, bmw's, acuras, celicas, berettas and cavaliers. I was just using them as an example. Cause when I see a nice camaro riding around, I respect them, cause I know that they busted their A$$ on their car, not just got a muffler and new tail lights, and they think they are fast.

It's still fun to race disrespectful people who talk **** about 240's and bust their a$$! not to change the subject but I raced an oldsmobile alero yesterday! it was hilarious! carbon fiber hood, graphics, huge aluminum wing etc.! has anyone seen an alero riced out?

I agree with 89, I personally don't give a sh** if anyone likes or respects my car. Getting respect from other import kids is stupid, and I'd never want it. I'd rather get some respect from Nissan guys, or hardcore racers, even domestics over import guys. Respect though, doesn't mean sh**.

Two kids work at a gas station by my work, they both drive really horrible looking cars (Prelude, wing above the roofline, ect, and a Civic, with the cheapest race seats ever). These two kids actually like my car, they've given me compliments on it. Now I'm not gonna be disrespectful to them, especially when they are being nice to me, but have them compliment my car is like having that fat, ugly chick in your class having a crush on you....It makes you feel just a little bit skeevy.
