resonator

a quick question on the box. I have a stock exhaust set up minus an aftermarket muffler. Eventually I'm changing the whole entire system to cat back but for now I want to take the resonator off and put a piece of tubing in. anyone forsee any problems (performance or otherwise) with doing that? I know I want less back pressure but it's a KA24DE (stubborn p.o.s)! Thankx

no resonator = louder not much diff in performance.

My stock resonator on my 91 rusted out, so i had it replaced with a pipe. There was little to no difference in sound or performance. Cost me 25$ to get it done at muffler man.
