2011 Rogue SL, resonating at high speeds ~40+

Sounds like.. "wwwumpp.......wwwumpp.......wwwumpp"; a low pitched hum.
Frequency increases when veering left and decreases to a steady resonance when veering right.
Suspect Front-Passenger CV or Bearing issue. Not related to acceleration or braking. Tires are balanced and were rotated without effecting the symptoms.

Any experience w/ these specific symptoms, and opinions on source?

A humm that changes in intensity when turning left or right is most often a wheel bearing. Usually the opposite side from the most noise. In other words if I'm reading your post correctly, the noise increases when turning left, in which case it is a right wheel bearing that would be bad.
