Just got back from taking my car out for a spin. I opened the hood to change the spark plugs. When i did, i noticed there was antifreeze leaking from the resoivor. It was bubbling inside, until i opened the lid on it and it stopped bubbling, but it did leak out antifreeze. Do you know what could of caused it to start bubbling on the inside?

overfilled, or use less water and more coolant. You may have a air pocket.Pop the radiator cap off and let it run till it gets hot enough to open the thermostat. That should do it and then top it back off once it drops.

i had the same problem and then i noticed that my radiator fan wasnt kicking on, so you might want to make sure they come on.

Change your radiator cap out with a 1.3 bar, that will probably fix your problems.

Uh...Running str8 water will run LOWER temperatures than water with "coolant" Coolant just raises the boiling point and lowers the freezing point and lubricates your cooling system.

Straight water transfers heat more readily and rapidly to the radiator than when mixed with coolant.. But with str8 up water you can rust ur **** up..

However...STRAIGHT water + A bottle of redline water wetter FTW. guaranteed 20 degrees cooler than water & coolant. Plus it lubricates your cooling system.

So I dont see how adding more "coolant" Would help when you are running hot. Theres a flow restriction or air restriction somewhere.

Mine was doing that when I had a blown head gasket. How does your oil look?

My oil looks fine, so i know it's not a headgasket!

It's mostly coolant, hardly any water, still very green coolant.

Hasnt done it since, atleast i havent noticed, so im guessing maybe it was just a lil over filled

you better have the system pressure tested --- your head gasket is either about to go or has. Anyway at least get it tested if you have bled the system and it still does it.
