I just got a call from the shop dropping in my motor and my ca is missing the resistor box. I dont know what ti looks like and they asked me to look for it. Can someone snap a pic of it and show it to me please?

We tried dropping the motor in ourselves but kinda screwed up on a few things so I decided to let a shop fix our problems and in the process of dropping the motor they realized the resistor box is missing. So yeah...any help on describing it or a picture would be great. Thanks

Jason

The injector dropper resistor is silver and about 6-7" long by 2" wide with 6 wires (I think) going to a grey multiplug, the base of the resistor pack flares out so it can be screwed onto the airbox mount.

Sorry, I don't have a piccy.

Help out man, lol.

Next question, kinda far fetched considering this part is needed to make it run. Anyone happen to have a spare one lying around or something? This is just the last piece from my car running and its so darn frusterating. When I got the clip, it came with an aftermarket intake but no chip. I called the guy I bought it from and he's doin what he can in finding one, my shop is searching around through their connections for one..

eBay it up man...I see them on there every once in a while. Otherwise hit up TMS (the mad scientist).

I don't think the DE's use that resistor plug, but I could be wrong.

The CA16 and CA18 look the exact same?

yea pretty much

the only obvious difference is in the intake piping

the CA16 has a squared off pipe like this

while the CA18 has a round one like this
