Hi guys,

My car is throwing a code for the MAFS and Map/Baro switch on my '97 240, and before I replace both, I'd like to check the voltage on both to find out where the short is. Does anyone know what the resistance levels are for either component?

Also, is there anything else intake related I should look at? I've gone over all the vacuum lines, even with carb cleaner, and had no success!

Thanks!

PS- I've found nothing thru the search function.

MAF should put a voltage of about 1.5 out at idle, imput is battery voltage. there is no MAP sensor.

obd2 s14's have a Map/baro system which switches between swtiching ambient and manifold pressure depending on operating parameters. fsm doesnt specify if its used for fuel mixture adjustment
