Resist All Coating...

Hello fellow M45'ers

I just picked up the remaining ResistAll solutions from the previous owner of my M.

I am not very familiar with this product and I'm reaching to anyone who might be able to shed some light.

So...

Apparently this is sold mainly through dealerships and the previous owner purchased the kit/warranty when he drove it off the lot (actually he came back a few days later). Its professionally applied on the interior and exterior and gives you a "warranty" against paint damage, interior stains, etc. If something were to happen you take it back to the dealership and get it repaired as the ResistAll should have ResistedALL??

When i got back from meeting the previous owner I went online and did some research... There isn't much info except for some other forums and their website.

I will be calling the dealership in the morning to see if they can reapply the ResistAll. Apparently its covered for life or many many years.

Did/does anyone purchase/use this product?

I'd like to get more info and see if i can just get it reapplied so my black car looks even newer (pretty good paint, just minor swirls esp in sunlight)

I have to admit I have never heard of ResistAll.

I have tried Zaino and 5 Star and absolutely love how well the Zaino products work (the 5 star was also good and easier to apply, but I think I like Zaino beter). It is a polymer that bond to the car surfaces apparently and just does an outstanding job. Check out http://www.zainostore.com for more information.

If you are interested in pictures, look in the Q45 forum at NICO and do a search for the pictures of my 1995 Q45 that looked spectacular with the Zaino product treatment.
