OMG...I can't wait til this game to come out...this is going to be the next big title. Sony is keep screwing up to loose this exclusivities...it all started from Devil May Cry 4, Tekkan 6 and the biggest of all is the Final Fantasy 12...

well it all comes down to money. They can make more releasing it on both systems, period. They could care less as long as they make more money.

ur right but Sony still holding onto MGS 4 exclusivity just like Microsoft holding onto GOW title. There's new teaser video by Kojima production saying "Next MGS is" with XBOX symbol on it...

lol. it's just a "power" symbol. not an Xbox symbol. I guess my Gateway PC is part Xbox then huh Kojima himself said that MGS4 is optimized for the PS3 and is "not possible" on the 360. he actually even said he wanted to make the game for PC, so we should probably be expecting it to land on PC soon.

to the OP, RE5 is gonna be SICK. I've been waiting for this game forever, and March '09 can't come sooner.

That's what Square Enix said exact samething about the upcoming Final Fantasy series...Kojima is just being loyal to Sony. Sony is the reason why Kojima production became big and established. I've been fan of MGS since NES but PS3 version was good but it wasn't a system seller due to the high cost of the PS3's. As long as MS take care of Cliff B than he'll be loyal to MS. Gears of Was series was a system seller...only time I use PS3 is whenever I watch blu-ray movie...I could almost guarentee that MGS series will come to MS, also I heard that most of the staff on Kojima production enjoy playing GOW on their break time...

I just got the RE 5 demo on a dvd disk, I guess since this is a demo the control seemed very sluggish...graphics looked awsome but I hope the final version will improve alot. btw I had hard time finding the demo on the new dashboard and I can't play this demo with my Xbox live account logged in anymore...I heard that Capcom or MS put the region lock on it or something. I can play this demo offline but not online.

WOOT! They just released the real demo on live for Jan. 26-28th. I can't wait to go home and play with friends. The online co-op is activated. Looks to be a very fun game. Has anyone played the demo? How is the game looking so far?

Was the game on disc or download? there's Co-Op online seems like the demo was not ment to be beat its pretty hard

I just played it! I like I can't wait to play through the final build.

The controls are good, slow like RE4. The game looks good graphically but still can be better, can't wait. I miss killing zombies in the dark.

I was trying to get redtop to play with me, but I had a friend hop online and ask me to before he finished DL'ing.

There's alot of bugs in the demo, so beware. I was playing with him and after we died(which is going to happen ALOT), I couldn't see him on live anymore. It said I had no friends online, but I was still talking to him over the mic, it was weird.

The game is going to be very frustrating. It seems like there will only be one setting, which I will have to get used to. I normally play games on normal to get used to it, then increase the difficulty depending on how well I do. I STILL haven't passed either levels of the game, but I also need to get used to the controls. It's a bit different from RE4, but overall, I'm going to play this game until my xbox gets RROD, or until the disc explodes inside my 360.

I'm downloading the demo now.

But I havent played any resident evil games since Nemisis, and that was forever ago. Am I going to be totally in the dark as far as the plot goes?

In an unrelated note, I'd really like to go back and play all of the silent hills, but who has the time?

Wow, i never followed the development of this game cuz ive never been a ResEve Fan, but i downloaded the demo anyway.

And man, it blew me away the atmosphere is deep, and the graphics are pretty amazing, when you notice, the anti aliasing is nearly perfect on this game. I dont think ive seen better. The controls take a while to get used to, but once you do, the game becomes really fluid. A SXy co-op partner is a nice touch too.

My only gripe with the Demo, is that it isnt in the slightest bit scary. Yahtzee had it right on the money when he said all Survival Horror games are become Action games with monsters.That being said, its a really good action game, which im probably gonna get Day 1.

I haven't gotten around to downloading the demo yet, but I did finally watch Resident Evil: Degeneration. Great movie if your a RE fan!

My roommate plays this demo daily. The online option is cool. Specially to work on a demo.

I'm not impressed with RE5 as far it being part of the series. It doesn't feel like a Resident Evil should. As far as an action game, it's not bad, but the RE4 controls are very dated.
