I did a search on this and came up with something about a car wash screwing up a guys tire valve...

Is there an easy way to reset the TPM myself? It seems the slightest change in pressure activates mine and when I add air, the light stays on anyway. Ive been to the dealer 3 times for this and each time they make me wait about 30 minutes before they reset it. Nothing is ever wrong according to them.

Thanks.

I'm not aware of a way to reset this yourself. You shouldn't need to. Whenever I had a tire with low pressure, I simply put more air in and it was fine. Perhaps one of the sensors is intermittently malfunctioning?

the are supposed to be 35psi cold... set them to that...and drive at a speed over 20 mph for a few mintues and light should go off

Well as it turns out, they were all off by 5 psi. That's pretty accurate pressure monitoring. I had them set at 35psi but over time they all went down the exact same amount. Amazing.

Others seem to have many complaints about their G, I have been nothing but satisfied.

I had them set at 35 but "surprise" they all went down to 30 over a 2 week period. It could be that the weather here has cooled down rather quickly. I am amazed at how accurately the sensor caught the change.

Thanks for the info.

Weather plays a tremendous effect on tire pressure.

Just like engine power a 11F change results in a 1PSI [or 1% engine change]..............plus of course the natural 1 PSI per month of leakage.

For those people obsessed with performance mods to extract 3 additional HP, they should move to cold climate as a considered mod. Imagine, you could dump the intercooler just by moving to Canada! LOL!

Not surprising! For this good reason, I check my tire pressures with a good gauge every other weekend or so and they all consistently, and typically, drop about 1 to 2 psi during that time (measured inside my garage in the morning, i.e., cold tire reading). That is normal "leakage".

If the weather changes unexpectedly, I check more often ... but that is not really likely in the San Jose area!
