Why, cause i want to, thats why.... Simply cause i basically have a brand new motor under the hood and i would like to track the mileage the easy way... Who the F*** cares about fraud. I dont plan on selling this car anytime in the near or far future. And if i did, i would push it about 10k miles past the point where its noted on my Title... so that it looks legit.Just like we are not supposed to remove the emissions off our motors.... yeah whatever people.

People do it all the time to match a junkyard gauge cluster to their car. I seem to recall seeing a writeup on this board, but I could have seen it elsewhere. Search yet?
