Resetting the automatic door locks

Hi, all. New here, need some help. I own a 2006 Pathfinder LE. The doors would lock automatically as soon as I shifted into Drive, then unlock when I shifted into Park and turned off the ignition. I don't quite know what happened, but it no longer works. Perhaps it was the guys at the carwash. (I was in a rush before vacation. We drove from northern NJ to Central Fla) Is there some way to put the keys in the ignition and reset the locks? It may sound trivial, but I miss that feature as it comes in handy with a 6 yr old. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. TIA

This sounds like something you should let the dealer look at if you still have any warranty left.....if so, then you could void the warranty if you try to fix it yourself and mess it up even more....just my 2 sense...........

try the simple first-unhook the battery for a while and let everything reset.
