resetting speedometer?

Car: 89 240sx hatch ka24de. 91 240sx hatch.

I searched and all I could find was info on the 350z speedo. I have some 17's I just put on, so I was on the highway and the speedo said 70 but there was no way I was really going 70 so I figured maybe the tire size could have set it off. the car beside me said they were going 50-60 anybody know of a way to reset this?

It's not easy to do. As far as I know, you have to add/swap resistors to read speed correctly.
