Well, it is time to set back our clocks. Have any of you tried that in your V's?

I am totally shocked at how fouled up it is in the Versa. I can only do it on the hour! I just can't believe this! Right now it is showing 7:02 and it is actually 6:02 - So I guess I keep reseting it (don't go beyond :29 back to 7:00) Then, at exactly 7:00 (but before :29) I reset it. I just can't believe this!

Resetting the time

Hold the MENU button down and then press the TUNE/SEEK button, the time will reset as follows:

o If the displayed minutes before the reset are in the range of :00 - :29, the hour displayed before the reset will stay the same and the minutes will be reset to :00.

o If the displayed minutes before the reset are in the range of :30 - :59, the hour displayed before the reset will advance by one hour and the minutes will be reset to :00.

For example, if the MENU button and the TUNE/SEEK button are pressed while the time displayed is between 8:00 and 8:29, the display will be reset to 8:00. If the buttons were pressed while the time was between 8:30 and :59, the display will be reset to 9:00. At the same time the display will return to the audio.

Well, time got away from me and I missed it by two minutes! Not it is 7:03 and my Versa says 7:00! Guess I will have to play with it twice (over the next hour) to get it right.

Why are you making it so difficult. Follow the instructions for setting the clock, not resetting the clock. Following the correct instructions will allow you to change the hour & minutes. Very simple process.

I'll admit that I haven't done it recently... but I reset the time in the old Camel and to my recollection... after the time started flashing I could use the up/down buttons on the left for hour and the up/down buttons on the right for the minutes... It was really easy... I'll have to go out and play with it once the Camel returns home (Josh took it to go to a friend's house).

Yeah, reading through that above just made my head hurt. When we first got the car I just held down clock and used the tune/seek buttons to set it properly. Nearly all factory stereos work in the same fashion.

Back up the bus!

Wow - it sure is easy to setup!

My problem was I was holding down the MENU button and then trying the TUNE/SEEK button. I found that if I hit the MENU button until clock comes up and then let go of the MENU - the TUNE/SEEK buttons work just like Rockhound suggested. I just don't remember seeing the time flashing like that before.

Anyway - thanks for everyone's input. Another problem solved - now onto the wife's list...

I don't understand why yours is so difficult?? All I had to do was hold down the CLOCK button until the time blinked, then use the Tune and Seek/Scan whatever it is buttons to change the hours and minutes up or down. Probably the easiest clock I've ever reset in a car.

Keep in mind, VPNAVY has the S, which uses a Panasonic stereo, and Kimber, myself, and Brandibug have SLs, which uses a Clarion stereo.
