I was driving and reset the average MPG on the display. When I did, the tire pressure monitor warning light came on. I double and triple checked the tire pressures and they are all good. I have driven the car a number of times since then and the light stays on.

Does anyone know how to reset this light?

I would if I hadn't checked to see that they are ok already. This happened on the way home from picking the car up at the dealer. When I checked the pressures they were actually WAY too high coming from the dealer. They had them at 45. I even bought a new air gauge to make sure mine wasn't bad. I dropped them to the recommended 32 and the issue still remains.

the tire pressure monitor do take some time to update. like 15 minutes most of the time. maybe the dealer messed it up and then on the way back the light came on. either wait a day or go back to your dealer. There is no way to reset them b yourself I think

If you're air is good, just drive. It will eventually shut off.

if after a few days of driving and it is still on, I think disconnecting the battery negative and leaving it off like a few minutes and hoping that it should clear.

Thank you for the replies. I'll give it a day and see if it turns off.

I have a different issue, took my winter wheels on put the stocks on and the tire pressure monitor hasn't shut off, still warns me.

-edit-

Ok so the dealership didn't give me a cap for the valve stem for one of the tires, they were going to reset the system but I told them to wait since I am putting on new wheels next week, I got a spare cap from the parts dept. Put it on an poof the light went off. If anyone else is having this issue they might wanna check the caps on the valve stems on the tires.
