reset?

My tire pressure sensor has been on ever since i got my new rims and tires, is there anyway i can reset it without going to the dealer?

If you got your old TPMS sensors transferred over, or if you bought new sensors, they probably forgot to reset the TPMS systems. Most good tire shops should have their own TPMS scanner/reset tools (Discount accidentally left theirs in my car, made a trip back later to return it to them).

If you DIDN'T get your TPMS transferred, and didn't buy new sensors, well then there's an obvious reason for your light being on.

And no, it can't be disabled. The federal safety regulation that mandates TPMS sensors states that the system can't have the light merely "shut off".
