Does your remote work...? if not you can reprogram it.....

1. Close/lock all doors2. open trunk3. Insert key into ignition fully in and fully out more than 10 times within 10 seconds4. manually unlock and lock the drivers door5. press the lock button on the remote..... flashers should blink.

Proven to work!!! I had bought a remote off of ebay and it had came with instuctions that did not work. I look like a total fool out there open and closing my trunk hitting locks and stuff. This work on the very first try! Do exactly what it tells you!

No guarantees are made on the results, and anything you do yourself is at your own risk.

Programming Remote KeylessBy Jesda Gulati

This information was taken from Infiniti service bulletins, and should save you the $75 it would cost to do it at your local dealer:

APPLIED VEHICLE(S): 1993-94 J30; 1993.5 G20; 1994 Q45

SERVICE PROCEDUREWhile sitting inside the vehicle:1. Open the trunk.2. Close and lock all doors.3. Insert and remove the key from the ignition six times within 10 seconds.4. Manually unlock and lock driver's door once to enable "setting" mode.5. Push lock button on the new remote controller once, just long enough to hear it beep, within 5 seconds of completing step 4.6. If additional remotes are needed (up to 3), repeat steps 4 and 5 for each additional remote immediately after programming the first remote. (Note: a total of four (4) remotes can be programmed to function on the same vehicle).

I found this at http://www.q45.org/remote.htmlIt worked for me on the first try!

My car dosen't have remote windows. Just remote doors and trunk.Plus my OEM remote came off of ebay and my car is used. According to all my paper work on the car mine never had that feature.

Yeh. Page 2-5 of the Owner's Manual promises it will, but it's a lie. A scurrilous, seamy lie.

Dumb question here:

I just bought a '95 J30 to replace my existing '96 J30. The owner to the new one (who is obviously a heretic) lost BOTH of his keyless remotes.

So can I use this reprogramming procedure to get my old remotes to work on my new J30? (The new one is a '95 and the remotes are for a '96).

EDIT: Yep. Answered my own question. Works nicely. One try. Kinda cool that I can unlock two cars at the same time. I feel just slightly powerful.

Did all J30's come with keyless entry? I have tried the above programming instructions on a keyless ride remote and it is not working.
