reset maintenance reminder 3

2009 G37X - Without NAV - The "Maintenance Reminder 3" message comes on in the center display. Reminder 3 is for Tires. I just had new tires put on at an independent tire store. (Not the dealer.)

How do I turn this reminder off? (Reset?) I know how to reset the mileage distrance in the center display by using the "joy stick" type knob and I have tried to "Reset" by using the two buttons on the right side of the of the speedometer console and going to the Maintenance menu but that still does not turn off the Reminder every time I start the car.

You will have to reset those through the gauge cluster menu system.

I've tried through the gauge cluster menu. I went to "Maintenance / Tire / Reset". But then when I go "back" the last choice before back to the outside temp or whatever, is "Skip".
This procedure does not reset the Reminder 3 on the center display.

Start around page 2-23 of the owners manual as it discusses the resets.

thanks for youh help. What I ended up doing is resetting the mileage interval in the Info Center. This is described on pages 4-9 and 4-10.

Yep. That's actually what I did for my other reminders as well. They were never set "from the factory" and Infiniti decided to set them once while it was getting a oil change. Annoying as hell, IMO.

I took the mileage amount down to zero so I guess it will never come on again???
