Reset help after dead battery

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Hi,

My OEM battery died last night, had to get AAA to install a new one. Because of the new install though, the TPMS and windows settings are no longer working.

My TPMS keeps flashing, how do I reset this? I did it before with the OEM TPMS but this is a new set that was installed with my new tires, don't want to have to buy another one unless absolutely necessary.

Also, my windows can't roll up with one push. It rolls down with one push, but it can't go up unless I keep pushing the button.

Appreciate any advice as I seem to have misplaced my owner's manual.

Thanks!

There is a way to reset the TPMS on the '08 using the TPMS connector under the dashboard by the steering column (though I haven't personally done it myself). It can also be done with a TPMS reset tool; so if you happen to know anyone who owns one, they can probably do it. Also, I think that most tire shops have the capability to reset the TPMS.

For the window, I believe you just have to do the following:
1. Hold the switch down to roll the window down. Don't let it roll down by itself.
2. When the window reaches the bottom, keep holding the switch down for about 10 seconds.
3. Pull and hold the switch upwards to roll the window up.
4. When the window reaches the fully closed position, continue to keep the switch held up for about 10 seconds.

Thanks NJGuy! Your windows instructions worked perfectly. I'll have to take the car into America's Tire to get the TPMS reset since they installed my tires.

Thanks again,
