what is the process to reset gauages in a 2007 nissan quest?

The only reset is for the trip odos and trip computer, you do that by holding in the button underneath the speedo. There's a diagnostic function for the cluster, see DI-14 here, but if one of the gauges is misreading when you run the diag, the cluster is bad. If it reads correctly in diag but not in actual operation, you probably have a sensor or wiring issue.
