It was recommended to me by another member to reseal my lower cam covers since my plenum is off. How exactly do i do that?

Remove the plug well part between the 2 cam covers, and then unbolt/remove the lower cam cover. Be careful not to damage the seal that goes over the cam at each end.Clean all the old sealant off the head and cover. Apply new sealant on the cover and reinstall. I used the Permatex Ultra Copper and has never leaked again, but any hi temp Permatex would work. Easy job once the plenum is off.
