I would like to know what you think the resale value of a 07 V with 250000 kms will be in 2012.

Canadian funds would be appreciated.

not much (either USD or Canadian Dollars). But since you use the car for your work, that is probably a good payout.

Kelly's says a 2004 Sentra in fair condition with 250k km now would be worth $6400 Cdn, so that's a start.

HA.........8 bucks!

I am parying I can get $5000 to 6000. for a 5 year old car with 250 000 kms. It is very well maintained vehicle.......regular oil changes........ any that needs to be fixed, gets fixed!

maybe $5,000 . . . depends, I guess, whether people are buying new cars yet . . . but people look at that big number [even if it is kms] and think "it's on its last legs . . . and if they check out this forum you'll be in big trouble!

Would you pay 6k for a car with that amount of distance on it, never mind it was a work vehicle? I think you are dreaming! With high-mileage cars, I think that the actual age of the car (in years) no longer matters - that car will have the heart of a 10-12 year old car, wrapped in a relatively rust-free exterior. If I'm in the market for a 5-year old car, it had better be around 100,000 - 120,000km.
