How do you all run your PCV system on your KA-T? This is a heated debate on KA-T.org and I wanted to get fresh opinions here. My plan is to block off the rail that has the four hoses which go into the IM (where the hose from the PCV valve would go), then replace the PCV valve with a fitting, from the fitting run a hose to a catch can, from there run a hose to the pre turbo intake pipe after the MAF. Valve cover keeps the breather filter. What will happen if I eliminate the PCV valve and replace it with a fitting in the oil seperator box where it went? Anything bad? I want to know if anyone has done this, since it is going to be somewhat of a PITA to do and I want to keep the valve if something bad will happen so I dont have to do it twice.

You should try and understand the PCV system and what it is designed to do before attempting to modify it.

Also just stick to NICO, we don't tend to have heated discussions about things that should be done properly ...

Why cause we didn't hand you the answer on a silver platter, but instead showed you source that will help you more understand of how your car runs?

Last time I checked if your into modding cars you should know exactly how each part of it operates, and why?

Plus not like we were rude or anything we were actually really nice. And about my comment of doing it properly, I don't understand why that's so bad.

Why have a heated discussion about something that is important to your engine operating, and you either do it right or **** it up?

And this is why I visit all the forums available to get unbiased opinions and recomendations.

It is just silly only sticking to a single forum for solutions.
