As of TODAY, I am the proud owner of a brand-new rear window for my 'vert. It's amazing how BEING ABLE TO SEE OUT THE BACK changes the "top-up" experience in these stiflingly hot, humid, Carolina summer days.I know Plexus is wonderful stuff. When I searched Amazon for it I found 2 types: the cleaner and the polish. So here are my questions:

1--Should I use either of these products (I'm guessing the polish) on my window RIGHT NOW while it's new as a protectant?2--If so which one?3--Or is that a waste of time/money and should I wait until I see a bit of haze/dirt.

Thanks very much for the wisdom on this board.

The Plexus polish is fantastic. I would recommend using it from the beginning. It's a polish that you spray on then polish with a clean cloth. i didn't know they made a cleaner.

As they used to say in the NFL........

UPON FURTHER REVIEW........

What I had seen on Amazon that I interpreted as 2 separate products from Plexus--cleaner and polish--were in fact ONE AND THE SAME PRODUCT.

My mistake derives--in part--from the product images on Amazon being slightly different. Each of these images had a different header on the listing: one was "cleaner" and one was "polish".

The other part is that I'm an idiot.

Sorry to waste everyone's time.
