My beloved M does not have nav., and I don't think that the actual cost of the system is justified in the stock model (just my opinion).

However, the only option seems to be to go to a Nuvi or a TomTom or some other portable nav system. These tend to look added on even if you hide the wires.

So, what does your after market nav system look like? Have you been able to integrate your am GPS into your M so it looks good, or does it look kludgy (like mine)? Any ideas welcomed!

Thanks in advance.

Check Ebay, I've seen factory nav parts going for real cheap. Don't give up if you don't find it right away. There was an owner that converted a non NAV car to factory nav using factory parts bought used from ebay for pretty darn cheap, just a little more than what an aftermarket nav unit would cost.

If you do want to go with aftermarket, I've had great success with TomTom I just didn't like paying for an update out of the box, but I guess you have to do that with any nav system.

Garmin will update your maps on your Nuvi if a more recent map set is available or if one comes out within 3 months of purchase. Just make sure you register it online and contact customer service for the update.
